Karlovy Vary
Karlovy Vary is a world famous spa, situated in West Bohemia. It is the largest spa in the Czech Republic, well known for its 12 therapeutic hot mineral springs. The spa was founded by Charles IV. in 1358. The town flourished especially in the 17th century, after the Thirty Year War. Most of the treatment and healing procedures, improved by doctor Becher at that time, are still in use today. The oldest historical buildings are Chateau Tower from 1358, reconstructed in 1608, the church of St. Magdalene from 1731 - 37, the Orthodox church of St Peter and Paul from 1896, the Holy Trinity Column from 1716, Mlýnská Colonnade from 1871 - 81, Post Yard from 1791 that was reconstructed in 1810 and adapted in 1894, the church of St. Andrew built in about 1500, the tombstone of Mozart's son from 1844 in the cemetery, the church of St. Catherine in Olšová Vrata, etc.

The spa was attended by the Emperor Peter I the Great, J. W. Goethe, Orlov - Cesmesensky, Friedrich Schiller, Ludwig van Beethoven, Richard Wagner, Fryderik Chopin, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, N. V. Gogol, I. S. Turgenyev, Antonín Dvořák, Johannes Brahms, Leoš Janáček, Franz Kafka, Aram Chachaturyan, Yuri Gagarin, A. N. Kosygin, etc.

Azzurra Tours has the great honour to invite you and your clients into this beautiful "Fountain of Health" for one, two or three week treatment stays. Each client is accommodated in a *** or **** hotel and provided half / full board accommodation. On arrival, the clients are examined by a doctor, who suggests the treatment procedures. The treatment is complex and uses the effects of the procedures, natural medicaction as well as proper diet and exercise.
