Pražské Selátko – Lví Dvůr Restaurant
Classical menu (piglet): Prague during the period of the Emperor Rudolf II in the 16th century brought us, among other things, innovations in gastronomy. One of the most important was baked piglet, the recipe for which came from the Portuguese Empire. It immediately became a popular and integral part of all social events, not only at the Court, but also in middle-class residences. Today, following the traditions of Rudolf's times, this Renaissance recipe has been rediscovered and is presented to the gourmet public as a most delicious dish of royal quality and taste with a mild, crunchy crust and juicy meat served with fresh salads, home-baked crusty cob-loaves, fresh chips, beer or pleasant sparkling wine.
